Haylie and Hilary Duff at the World Premiere of "1408"
What makes siblings desire to break the mold and grab their own identity? For a long time, years put mildly, Hilary Duff rose to the top of the popular ladder through entry into the living rooms of many adolescents with her long, straight, platinum blonde hair while her sister made headlines on occasion as a dark brunette. When Hilary took on the same shade as her sister, we wondered if this was more their natural color. Now, as an apparent defiance to be an individual, Haylie has taken on a honey blonde shade, leaving her sister to wear the coal, black look alone.
