Katie Holmes is seen here exiting the theater in New York City where she is currently working on her first play. Katie will be appearing in the Broadway production of ‘All My Sons’, a play expected to be a big hit in the Big Apple come its opening in October. And, from the looks of it, Katie is using her style icon status to merge three decades in one, the 50’s and the ‘80s meet the 21st century. She is channeling Jackie O with her short hair and huge glasses, but trying to maintain the WHAM edge with rolled up cuffs and kitty heels. And oddly enough, it’s Katie Holmes, so it works. I love this new cut that Katie is sporting, her already cropped locks are going to new shorter lengths, in layers that appear to be all one length, including her bangs, but are a little layered to give her short look freshness and movement that Katie pulls off beautifully. The key to this look is an immaculately styled cut, perfection is key, so bring a picture of this look to your stylist if you are looking to achieve it. You also want to avoid this cut if your face is on the round side, as short locks are only going to emphasize as much. And again, with all short cuts, you really need to have the confidence.
