Paris Hilton is seen here hosting a party for the release of her latest product line of hair extensions. The party was held on Saturday in Malibu, and as you can see, Paris is in all her look at me glory. Paris is channelling Vannah White here in a game show type cocktail dress with cut outs in the fabric and is wearing her own hair extensions as well. Too bad there isn’t much continuity here between the extensions and her real hair, as Paris seems to be going half curly and half straight. The extensions are clearly curly, but not sure why she didn’t blend straight hair extensions with her straight hair. And to be honest, given Paris’s extensive collection of product lines, I am not sure that this event is as much about the hair extensions themselves as it is about the Paris show of being the center of attention. This particular look I am not too gung ho about for Paris, I think when she uses extensions that complement the rest of her hair she can look very elegant and very chic, but mixing and matching here, coupled with the ridiculous dress, just makes her look like a game show reject. When you are going for your hair extensions, blend girls, blend. Make sure your stylist gives you continuity, because the key to hair extensions is to look natural. Not like you are playing dressup.
