Eva Longoria is the Cream of the Crop

We have seen hair go to all sorts of different lengths this season, and one of the reasons for that is hair of any length can be chic and contemporary if it is styled properly. However, one trend seems to be cropping up more often than others, and that is of the assymetrical bob. This cut in itself has a million different varieties and we have seen it this year on Victoria Beckham, Katie Holmes, Reese Witherspoon, and now with Eva Longoria. The assymetrical aspect of this cut is what makes it so contemporary, and believe it or not, fairly easy to maintain. This cut takes the look from the 1920’s into one that is very 2008 with its choppy textured nature. If you go short and like the sleek straight look but struggle with natural waves or bend, you will have some problems straightening it out with a flat or round brush, simply because of the length. Some straightening serum on towel dried hair and then a quick upside down blow dry will be a great start. You can then guide a thin flat iron over small sections of your hair to smooth it out.
