Hilary Duff is seen here leaving the Neil George Hair Salon in Beverly Hills after having her pretty blonde locks maintained to perfection. It looks like Hilary has darkened her base color just a smidge and added some very pretty light highlights around the face. She’s also had some deeper layers cut, and had some clean up on her bangs for a very soft, layered look that looks great on her. This color I think is one of my favorites on Hilary, and combined with the cut, it looks even better. Face framing layers are a cut that will simply never go out of style, just ask Kate Hudson and Goldie Hawn. Today’s contemporary layered cuts are done with a little more depth and chunkier layers so that you can spend less time maintaining them. For a look like this, some pomade and a flat iron are really all you need. But step out of the box a bit and use your flat iron for curling instead of just straightening. You can use your flat iron to turn your ends under just like Hilary, and here you have a look that is still sleek and straight, but with just enough softness and movement around the face.
This formal style on Hilary Duff, has flat ‘against the scalp’ sides, ascending to the top with ‘backbrushing” utilized for height. The top picture would cause us to think she had a French twist or similar updo, however, this bottom photo reveals some of her long length falling freely, which makes it appear to have an asymmetrical, inverted ponytail.
The beautiful Hilary Duff has kept the blonde hair she has returned to and what gorgeous platinum and honey shades they are. With mere bends remaining to be viewed here, her all over design took on some large vertical curls that were mainly loose though a few tiny, twisted tendrils could be found here and there.
Hilary Duff long since returned to the blonde tones yet has opted to keep them on the darker side. This has been the trend since last summer and she looks great in this familiar and flattering hair color.
Giving many an example of hair fashion for years, Hilary Duff continues to amaze us with her beauty and great hairstyles. This dark to light blonde style looks fabulous with the deep, S-waves.
Back to wearing a blonde hair color, Hilary Duff has loads of waves in an all-one-length. She's abandoned her recent brunette shade for this "dirty blonde" tone making one wonder what her natural shade really is.
Hilary Duff exhibits her formal look that gives those of you who like "dare to wear" styles; something to think about. Straight, side sections are becoming more and more popular, and Hilary's stylist utilized this look, then took a folded ponytail style, made it a bit messy and called it artwork for the evening.
The general consensus seems to be the height in the crown area just above a gathered and clipped half-do in the back. This allows for the large twists, such as these on Hilary Duff, to be curled towards the front rather than away from the face.
The news certainly isn't a record breaking style design. No, it is always about how fast celebrities change their hair. With hair extensions now allowing them to be short one day and long the next, hair color is still a real "head-turner". Earlier this week, we featured Hilary Duff with her sister, making comment of how she stayed a black brunette, while Haylie went blonde. Hilary had been a brunette for just a few months, and now just two days after we post her as that same brunette, she has stripped the black and gone for a reddish brown.
What makes siblings desire to break the mold and grab their own identity? For a long time, years put mildly, Hilary Duff rose to the top of the popular ladder through entry into the living rooms of many adolescents with her long, straight, platinum blonde hair while her sister made headlines on occasion as a dark brunette. When Hilary took on the same shade as her sister, we wondered if this was more their natural color. Now, as an apparent defiance to be an individual, Haylie has taken on a honey blonde shade, leaving her sister to wear the coal, black look alone.
