Lauren Conrad is seen here doing a quick bit of shopping at the trendy store Intermix in the big time celebrity shopping district of Robertson Boulevard. And as usual she looks picture perfect with a straight low ponytail that even in casual wear adds a little glam appeal. This is a look that is best achieved on second day hair which will make your life even easier as you won’t have to spend extra time with a wash and a blow dry.
Lauren Conrad is seen here going back to work at the hip People’s Revolution. Lauren is one of those girls that seems to have a different hairstyle with every outfit, and she always looks fabulous in every one of them. Whether she is rocking bone straight shiny hair, messy loose updo’s, or luscious wavy locks, she just never seems to have a bad hair day. Yes it is true that she has a wealth of stylists on hand for her hit TV show ‘The Hills’, but even when she is vegging at home, her hair is immaculate. Today’s look for Lauren seems to be one in between waves and straight locks, and she has perfected this look beautifully. The secret to this look is ensuring that you find the perfect blend of loose waves but shiny sleek hair.
Lauren Conrad was spotted on Friday running some errands in Hollywood looking her fashion designer best. She was taking her pet dogs to the grooming center and visiting some office buildings in a cute high waisted ruffle skirt and a stunning green top. Oh, if we all couldn’t look this great when we were running our dogs around, huh? But yep, this is one girl that seems to have natural style covered, and even when she is dressed to the nines and pulls her hair back in a simple ponytail she still looks great. Lauren is proving here that the ponytail is under-rated when it comes to looking pulled together, so keep in mind that the ponytail is not just for Saturday mornings in your PJ’s. As I keep saying, if you have a great outfit, and the confidence to pull it off, whipping your hair back in a ponytail is an easy and maintenance free way to look fabulous. You can pull it back low on the neck like Lauren has here, and pay little attention to strays or flyaways, they add to the appeal of a casual, not too done look. Another key for this look is clean, shiny hair, don’t let it go unwashed too many days, or your ponytail will look like you think it does. Greasy, and there because you have no other choice.
Lauren Conrad was spotted having lunch in Los Angeles today, and though it is hard to tell, it looks like her lunch mate may be her BFF Lo. Lauren was having lunch and shooting scenes for the MTV reality hit ‘The Hills’ which explains why she looks so perfectly made up and styled. She was dressed uber cas in an orange shirt and some ripped jeans, but her hair was styled perfectly in a pretty ponytail and of course full beauty routine. This is a great look which, as you can see, is very pretty but doesn’t look overstyled. The ponytail is pulled back with a loose elastic, and not too tight on the head. To finish, Lauren’s long layered bangs were pulled out in wispy fringes around her face to complement her strong makeup. The pieces were curled just slightly to create a softness that is both pretty and casual. This is a great look that anyone can accomplish, but I do recommend that unless you ARE going on television, you go easy on the makeup with this one, or it will ‘overstyle’ the whole look. You also may want to use some mousse on your bangs to ensure your wispy curls stay curly all day long. Finish the look with extra hold spritz.
Lauren Conrad is seen here after a shopping spree at Barney’s New York in Beverly Hills, one of her mother ships I guess, as Lauren spent more than an hour in the hip store with one of her girlfriends. Lauren is braving the California heat in a bright blue tank top with matching shades and comfortable leggings, and while she looks cool and collected, her hair seems to be a little awry. While the ponytail is certainly a celebrity favorite when it comes to errand running and shopping, Lauren it seems has cared a little *too little* and her face framing layers are falling out haphazardly in a look that is making her look more tired than trendy. She needs to neaten up this ponytail, and a flat paddled brush would be a good start, and then style her bangs so they sweep off her face, or use an accessory to put them back and neaten them up. I think a narrow headband would do just the trick, and polish this look just enough.
It takes a few patient moments yet, these well-defined curls are worth it. Lauren Conrad shows us what perfectly parted vertical curls look like fresh from the irons.
This care free style on Lauren Conrad shows definition of separation in this full body style she models. A wax or spray was used to coerce her sections into this look that cooperates with full waves and a few bends.
Lauren Conrad chooses to be blonde only on the bottom third of her length as seen here in this asymmetrical style. One large twist of a curl is all that is needed in a low riding band of hair.
