Jessica Szohr on the other hand is the quintessential before picture looking like she has just crawled out of bed. She’s pulled her long naturally curly locks on top of her head and is keeping them at bay with a wide headband. Shortly after their walk on set, the girls appeared from their trailers looking like the Upper East Siders that we have grown to love. Taylor had her hair styled in voluminous waves that are becoming trademark Jenny, and Jessica’s hair was styled curly and shaped beautifully to show off her dark features.

And she is certainly proving here that she is no little girl anymore. Taylor’s character has lightened her hair extensively and brought it up to medium length in a layered cut that is just gracing her shoulders. The layers are enhanced with soft but chunky waves that flatter Taylor’s delicate features perfectly. This look requires a good layered cut on medium length hair, and you can get the movement and softness with medium sized Velcro rollers and some mousse applied on towel-dried hair. Let the rollers set for about 30 minutes and zap them with the blow dryer to set the volume with a little bit of extra heat. Finger comb your waves out, and if you like, brush them gently for a look like Taylor’s that has a lot of soft movement, but some shape that will flatter your own features.
